The Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry manages over $300B prescription benefits annually for Payers. This industry operates on antiquated, fragmented and inflexible legacy platforms that has been long awaiting innovation. In order to disrupt PBM industry's traditional paradigms and bring innovation, Ravi founded RxAdvance, a full service national PBM. Similar to his earlier healthcare innovations, Ravi built Collaborative PBM Cloud™, enabling RxAdvance to run at 40% less operating costs than any other PBM. This game changing innovation leads to less administrative fees, reduced drug unit costs, increased rebate income, and reduced over all medical costs to Payers. Through RxAdvance, Ravi is also leading the PBM industry to share global pharmacy risk standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Payers, which has never been offered by any PBM. Prior to RxAdvance, more than a decade ago, Ravi founded IkaSystems. Through the ikaEnterprise platform, Ravi was able to reduce administrative costs for Payers by 50% while improving transparency between Payers and Providers. These results enabled ikaSystems to raise over $140M capital from Providence Equity, the sixth largest private equity firm. Over the years, the healthcare industry has come to rely on Ravi's vision of how innovative technology can radically change the way it collects, shares and uses information. Prior to ikaSystems, Ravi successfully built a global technology consulting services company and two other organizations with no institutional capital. Essential attributes of Ravi’s leadership are his hands-on approach to his clients’ success and his ability to build and inspire world-class teams. Ravi has a master's degree from Old Dominion University and worked as a research scientist at Harvard University prior to his entrepreneurial journey.
