We are excited to announce Sunita Kanchinadam as the 15th President of TiE Boston. Sunita takes over from Purnanand Sarma in July 2026.

A special thank you to the previous TiE Boston President, Purnanand Sarma, for his leadership, strategic guidance and mentorship in shaping the past two years of growth for the organization.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial technology and global financial services, Sunita Kanchinadam has built a distinguished career transforming complex organizations. She has led large-scale automation initiatives, optimized operational processes, reduced costs, increased productivity, and delivered sustained top-line growth and profitability across global enterprises.
Prior to her current role at Bank of New York, Sunita served as Managing Director at State Street in Boston and prior to that, she held several leadership roles in Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. She is passionate about innovation and bringing new ideas to life all through her professional career. Her intellectual curiosity and leadership is evident in her successful corporate journey and her contributions to TiE Boston. She was also awarded the New England Women of the Year for Entrepreneurship in 2023.
Sunita holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University.
