As executive vice president and general manager, Cloud, Prat leads public cloud growth at Cloudera with crossfunctional responsibility across GTM, product, and customer success. Previously, he was the founder and chief executive oficer of Cazena, a startup acquired by Cloudera. Prat has more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, having launched data and analytics products at multiple startups. He previously led Product, Marketing, & Strategy at Netezza and helped integrate and scale the company after its $2 billion acquisition by IBM in 2010. Prat started his career at Bell Labs. He has also actively mentored entrepreneurs and is a former president of TiE Boston. Prat holds a doctoral degree from UCLA.
