Jit has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Demandware, Inc. since July 2010. Jit founded Netezza Corporation, a leading data warehouse appliance provider, in September 2000 and served as Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors of Netezza from its inception until January 2009. Jit served as Chairman ofNetezza’s Board of Directors from February 2009 until it was acquired by IBM in November 2010. Prior to founding Netezza, Jit served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Applix, Inc., a provider of performance management applications, from 1983 until 2000. Jit currently serves on the board of directors of several private companies. Jit holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Mumbai, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
