Anand Rao is the Global Artificial Intelligence Lead at PwC, and a trusted advisor, innovator, keynote speaker, author, and educator. He has 12 years of experience in data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, and has been with PwC since 2017. Previously, he was the Innovation Lead, Data & Analytics at PwC for 3 years and Partner at PwC's U.S. Insurance Advisory Services for 3 years. He also spent 5 years at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants as Partner, 3 years at MarchFirst as a Manager and Associate, and 9 years at the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute as Chief Research Scientist. Anand Rao holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sydney, where he was awarded the University Postgraduate Research Award. He also has an MBA in Finance, Technology from the Melbourne Business School, where he graduated with distinction, and an MSc (Tech) in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has won numerous awards including the Global AI Leader of the Year by AI Global, the AI Innovator of the Year by Thinkers360, and the World’s Most Influential AI Thinkers by Onalytica.
