Anil Saigal is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts School of Engineering. He received his B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, and his M.S. and Ph.D from Georgia Tech. Saigal has been at Tufts University since 1983. He was previously the department chair and the director of international programs for the School of Engineering. He is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and received the 2011 Distinguished Service Alumni Award from IIT.
